Born in Virginia, with his first memories of this life formed in Brooklyn New York, he crossed the country 3 times with his family by the time he was 10 years old. He has never stopped moving. Prior to landing in the Skagit River Valley in January of 2021, Russell spent 8 years as an active part of the rich, diverse songwriting community in East Nashville, Tennessee.
